SPOILERS
When platypus’ mate, they nip each others’ tails. I’ll be honest, before watching the episode I was half expecting there to be a quick “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it” type moment where Doof nips Perry’s tail without knowing that bit of information and Perry looks scandalized. Maybe even slaps his face.
That would have been cute and funny, but the episode was fine without it!

SPOILERS This episode is going to be amazing. I’m very surprised someone hasn’t made a gif featuring the scene where Doof and Perry are having tea and Doof lunges across the table at Perry. Or the bit where they wrestle and it becomes impossible to tell who’s beak belongs to who. And the lyrics are so subtly and suitably suggestive!
I’m sorry, but this episode excites me in ways it shouldn’t.
I don’t see a lot of Doof turned into a platypus fics/fanart, always Perry turned human.
…He most likely messed up one of his -inators and now he’s stuck as a platypus~
So relevant right now.
